July 21 Sunday Reminders

Memorial Brick for John Shute – If anyone would like to give a donation toward John Shute’s brick in the columbarium, please sign sheet in the narthex.

Sunday School Class: The book, The Good and the Beautiful God (Falling in Love with God Jesus Knows) by James Bryan Smith is available for pick-up in the church office. Everyone is welcome to join the class, lead by George Dobbin in Room 209.

Beacon Deadline: The deadline for the first electronic Beacon is Sunday, August 11. Please email your article (office.sjpc@gmail.com) or bring to Room 208.

Kroger Community Rewards Program: Registration for this year’s program, which benefits Braes Interfaith Ministries, begins August 1. Kroger has revamped the program this year and all registration must be done on-line. Registration can be done at St. John’s – stay tuned for details.

Shannon DeSouza is using her mustard seed money to buy food for the BIM Pantry.  Please consider donating coupons and/or money to assist her with making the most of her donation.  

Betty Robinson is purchasing shoes for students at Shearn Elementary. Look for the collection box in Bldg 1 to help Betty with her project.

Good News! Construction Begins!

Monday – Saturday: Park in the lot by the Sanctuary (off Balmforth)

Sunday and Evenings (after 7 pm) Parking as Normal
(Parking will be as normal after 5:00 pm during VBS)

- The back entrance (from Cheena) will blocked for 2-3 days for drainage work. 
- While on campus, be alert for construction traffic activity.
- Stay out of the construction area at all times.
- The paper bins will be removed temporarily for construction.
