Youth) Practice Today: Calling all
youth and children who like to make joyful noise! Elementary age and older boys
and girls are invited to join us immediately following morning worship in Room
209. There are new and exciting anthems to learn.

Fellowship (PYF), September 22: Roman Melodrama! We will take a closer look
at Paul’s letter to the Romans. All Youth 6th to 12th

Beacon: Last Call! Please deliver all Beacon articles for the upcoming
issue by email, office.sjpc@gmail.com, or deliver to the church office or Room

Blessing of the
Animals, Sunday October 6: Prayers of Blessings will be spoken and songs of
praise will be song at this special event starting at 4 pm in St. John’s
Courtyard. A reception with treats for both animals and people will follow. Booths
from Animals, Friends of BARC and SPCA will also be onsite.
Fill the Ark project
through Heifer International: Please join us in collecting donations for
this special project which will help families near and far improve their
nutrition and generate income in sustainable ways. Fill the Ark banks are
available in the Narthex and outside the church office. Fill your bank with
change and return it to the church office - watch our fundraising progress on
the poster. Our goal is $5000 – a small price to pay for bringing food and
gardening/farming assistance to needy communities around the world.
