St. John’s Hosts Called Presbytery Meeting, Dec. 10
173 ministers and elders attended to approve or disapprove the “Reconciliation and Dismissal Procedure,” a New Covenant document. Special thanks go to Jeanne Leach and her band of “muffin makers,” Esther and Pam (who helped with the breakfast), Shirley Boyd (who played the piano) and Ann Hardy (who helped with registration). Our Commissioners, David Wintersgill and Mary Sterner, were present to vote for the document, which passed after some discussion about changing several sentences.
