Presbyterian Youth Rally, October 20, 10:30 am – 2:30 pm: Attention all Presbyterian youth, please gather in the youth room at 10:30 am to leave for Youth Rally at First Presbyterian Sugar Land. There will be games, music and a mission project to benefit the Seafarers’ Center.

New Unbinding Class – Unbinding Your Soul: Please join the four week class beginning October 13 meeting in Pastor Jon’s office on Sundays at 4 pm. Books are available in the church office. Contact Pastor Jon for more information.

Beacon Deadline: Please deliver all Beacon articles for the upcoming October November church newsletter by email, office.sjpc@gmail.com, or deliver to the church office or room 208. The last chance to be part of this issue is Sunday, October 20, 12 noon.

Presbyterian Youth Fellowship Needs Meals: Each Sunday night, PYF meets from
5-6:30 pm, at 6 pm we share a meal. Available dates are: November 3 & 10, and December 15. If you are interested in providing a meal for PYF please contact Mary Sterner: mary2d@yahoo.com or 713-417-6106.

Living Gift Market: This is the first call for donated homemade items for the Silent Auction for the Living Gift Market which will take place on Sunday, November 27.
