Garden: We have completed 6 garden beds and are planning to create more
beds soon. Our gardeners, which now include 15 gardeners, are planting summer
vegetables. We invite the congregation to view the garden and see how many
plants they can identify. If you are interested in participating, please
contact Claire MacAdam, Tom Gwillim or Mary Gaber.

Vacation Bible School: Do your summer plans include VBS? Make sure

Welcome Dr. Rick Young
Today we welcome to our pulpit The Reverend Dr. Rick Young,
President and CEO of Texas Presbyterian Foundation since October 2011. Dr.
Young served as Regional Representative for the Board of Pensions (PCUSA) for six
and half years with responsibilities for BOP members in 19 presbyteries in the
Synods of the Sun and the Rocky Mountains. Before his work with the Board of
Pensions, Rick served as pastor of four congregations in Texas and Oklahoma.
Rick received his Master of Business Administration from Dallas Baptist
University and his Doctor of Ministry from Austin Presbyterian Theological
Seminary. Rick and his wife Meg live in North Richland Hills and attend FPC -
Ft Worth. They have two children, Joann who resides in Minneapolis, MN and
Michelle in Ft. Worth, TX.
