St. John's Sunday Weekly Reminders

Today we welcome to our pulpit The Reverend Mr. Mike Karim. He serves with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) among the International Students and Graduate Students at Rice University and the University of Houston, Clear Lake. Although this might break with tradition: Reverend Karim asks that you call him, “Mike.”

Congregational Brunch, Next Sunday: On the last Sunday in July St. John’s congregation will be bringing food to share. Drinks will be provided.

Are you missing kitchen cooking ware? Items left in St. John’s kitchen can be found on the table in the back of McPhail Hall.

Pictorial Directory Pictures: Please sign up to have your pictures taken for our new directory under the walkway, next Sunday. Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, August 18, and Wednesday, August 19, 2:15 to 8:40 pm. Please contact Elaine DeSouza or Marie Kutz with any questions.

St. John’s Book Group, Tuesday July 28: Please join St. John’s readers as they begin to explore their new book, A History of God, by Karen Armstrong.
