The Clerk’s report showed that Jennifer Burnham, Jacob Ehrenstrom, Zarek Edwards-Lopez, Brittney Modlin, Wayne Patterson, Gabrielle Williams and Michael Rogers had completed their Confirmation Class and were received into the church by Affirmation of Faith. Pat Ragan, Jim Austin and Lynn Parsons Austin were also received by transfer of membership.
Jenny Glover reported on the Called Presbytery Meeting that approved the merger of Central & St. Philip Presbyterian Churches. The two congregations became one congregation when the churches officially united on May 20, 2010.
Jon Burnham reported he had officiated at the wedding of Toni Johnson and Mark Dagilis and the funeral of James McPhail.
There was a lively discussion about Desserts with the Pastor and brunches for the summer. Presbyterians do like to eat.
Bill Ehrenstrom was elected to serve as the second Commissioner to the May 8 Presbytery Meeting.
