St. John's Breakfast - Saturday October 5
St. John's Breakfast will be the first Saturday, October 5. Breakfast is served at 8 am and our program, "Tales From the Hedgerow," will begin at 8:30 am. Our program will be given by Mrs. Gillian Cooke, my contact at the Chaplain's Office at Southwest Memorial Hospital. She was here once before, and I've gotten many requests to have her return to tell about her experiences in London during World War II.
You will learn firsthand how the children in Great Britain struggled through this war time. She is a compelling speaker, and I hope you will come and bring friends.

Pastor Jon will teach a new 6 week Unbinding class for 30 people on Sunday, September 8 at 4 pm in the Session Room. If you have participated in a previous Unbinding group and want more, speak to Pastor Jon to get your new book. (On the other hand, if you have not had an Unbinding experience and want one, speak to Pastor Jon about starting with a new group for first timers.)
The unbinding experience has led us to a more positive outlook, led to a greater sense of community, and a greater sharing of our hearts with one another. There have been a lot of new relationships between church members. There are very deep and strong new relationships. We look forward to the work of the Holy Spirit as we continue unbinding our souls.
