September 1: Sunday Insert Highlights

Presbyterian Women’s Association Meeting: Everyone is invited to the Association Meeting in Fellowship Hall, Tuesday, September 3, at 9:30 am, for an overview of the upcoming Bible Study, An abiding Hope: The Presence of God in Exodus and Deuteronomy. Lunch will be served. The September Bible Study Circles (Lesson one) will meet Sunday, September 15, after worship, and Tuesday, September 17 at 9:30 am.

Presbyterian Youth Fellowship (PYF) Kick-off: Youth 6^th to 12^th grade are invited to the first fall meeting, Sunday, September 8, 5-6:30 pm. Come play Minutes to Win It.

St. John’s Breakfast, September 14: Please come at 8 am for breakfast. At 8:30 Rev. David Wells will be our speaker. David is one of our chaplains at the Houston Ship Channel. He will enlighten us on caroling in December (two different Saturday nights in December), Christmas boxes, DVD donations, and the possibility of taking a group out to the ship channel and bringing goodies (cookies, fruit trays, cheese and crackers, etc.) The seafarers love time with people other than the crews they work with every day. We would love to see you on the 14^th (second Sunday) and bring as many friends as you like.
