Easter Egg Hunt Supplies Needed: Please deliver individually wrapped candies
(non-chocolate and non-melting), stickers, novelties and miscellaneous small items to the church office by April 6. The egg hunt will be held on April 13, 11:45 am.

Easter Sunrise Service: All Middle School and High School youth are invited to take part in planning and leading the Easter Sunrise Service, which will take place on April 20 at 7:00 am in McPhail Hall. Rehearsals will take place on Sundays, March 30, April 6 and April 13 from 9:45 - 10:15 am in the Youth Sunday School Room (Room 207). You do not need to be an active member of the youth Sunday School or PYF to participate.

Sign up for Easter Lilies: Purchase your Easter lilies from the Brookwood Community by signing up on the order form in the Narthex. Your checks can be delivered to the church office or placed in the offering plate. The lilies can be taken home after the Easter morning 10:30 service. The lilies cost $12 each.

Women’s Bible Study: The Bible Study will meet Tuesday, April 1, in Room 205 studying Lesson 8 Temptation along the Way (Exodus 32:1-34; 10; Deuteronomy
6:10-25). All ladies are invited, led by Rev. Linda Herron, 9:30 am – 11 am.

Book Group, Thursday April 3*New Date*: Please join us as we begin discussing our new book: No God but My God: The Origins, Evolution and Future of Islam by Reza Aslan. We’ll discuss the first 2 chapters. Everyone is welcome.

St. John’s Breakfast, Saturday, April 5: Everyone is invited to McPhail Hall at 8 am for freshly baked pancakes. At 8:30 the guest speaker, Tom Gwillim, will explore art collecting, history of print making and will share some of his own art collection and expertise.


Michael Bisase, Relay for Life: Our own Michael and his team will be participating in the Relay for Life of Sugar Land, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, on Friday, April 11. The Relay for Life is an organized, overnight community fundraising walk. Learn how you can help support his walk by talking to Michael or Felicity or by visiting his on-line page, www.relayforlife.org; click on participant, and type in his name.
