“Wonder Team” Sandwich Makers, Wednesday,
July 23: The twice-a-month sandwich making needs additional volunteers for
the summer program. Vacation schedules are keeping the worker count down a bit
and we need a little help. There are 3 more opportunities this summer: July 23,
August 13 & August 27. Please consider helping us for about an hour and a
half, starting at 6 pm. The hungry kids will thank you a lot. And Jesus did
say, "Feed my flock." This is one way that we do just that.
Sweet Dreams: Don’t forget our on-going
Mustard Seed project for Houston’s Covenant House. St. John’s is hoping to provide 16 twin bed
comforters for their new facility which will provide homeless children, 10 to
17 years old, a place to stay. There is a donation box outside the office, on
the coffee table.
