New Church Directory: Please select your photo date by clicking on the link on the bottom of our home page (www.stjohnspresby.org) or visit with David Nelson under the walkway after church today.

October/November Beacon: The church newsletter, The Beacon, was emailed last Sunday. Paper copies are available in the Narthex and on the coffee table in Building 2.

Sunday, Circle: The Sunday Circle will meet today following Worship in Room 205 studying Lesson 2, God’s Call to Serve (Exodus 2:11-4:17).

Trunk-or-Treat, Today: Everyone is invited to the Sanctuary parking lot, 4:30 – 6:30 pm, for a safe and fun evening. All ages are welcome.

St. John’s Breakfast, Saturday, November 2: Please do us the honor of coming at 8 am for breakfast - our speaker is from Interfaith Ministries and will tell us about I.M. and what they do. I'm sure you will find it interesting and informative. Bring a friend - in fact, bring several!! Call if you need a ride. Linda Dobbin, 281-778-5348.

Please Help: I am collecting clean, dry, unripped newspaper bags and plastic zipper-style sandwich bags for the Starbucks pastries for St. John's after church snacks, it would be much appreciated. A box will be outside the office for donations. Thanks! - Mary Plail

Living Gift Market: Calling for donated homemade items for the Silent Auction for the Living Gift Market which will take place on Sunday, November 24. The proceeds from the Silent Auction help fund mission trips. Call Claire MacAdam, 713-729-2470, or Phyllis Freeman, 713-857-3522.

Seafarers’ Boxes: It’s almost time to pack the shoeboxes. Unfortunately, the boxes still need toothpaste, deodorant, disposable razors, lip balm, floss, pocket combs and nail clippers. If you don’t have time to shop, monetary donations are happily accepted and the Presbyterian women will do the shopping for you. Please deliver the items to the church office.
