Summer Brunch Today: Everyone
is invited to McPhail Hall for brunch after Worship. St. John’s Property
Committee will be working in the kitchen.
Blessing of the Backpacks, August 24:
All students and teachers (primary, secondary and college): bring your backpacks,
bags, satchels, and briefcases to church for a “Blessing of the Backpack”
during worship at 10:30 am.
Rally Day, Sunday, August 24: St. John’s begins the
fall Sunday School schedule with a Rally Day celebration sponsored by the
Christian Education Committee. Details to be announced soon. Everyone is invited
whether or not you are planning to Sunday school fall classes.
Sunday after Church Snacks: The office
is looking for people who would like to serve snacks under the walkway after
Sunday worship. You would have to only serve one Sunday each month and the
snacks are provided. If interested, please talk to Pam (Room 208) or call
