Medium-Sized Cookie Tins Needed: The Caring Committee needs holiday cookie tins for delivering cookies to St. John’s shut-ins. They will be packed on Sunday, December 12. Please bring your tins to the church office.

Hanging of the Greens, November 28: St. John’s will celebrate the First Sunday of Advent with the Hanging of the Greens during the morning worship service. Don’t miss this traditional beginning of the holiday season.
Advent Family Festival, December 5, 5 pm: Members and friends of all ages are invited to celebrate Advent. Activities will include Advent wreaths, arts and crafts, decorated bags for Meals on Wheels, and a Christmas sing-a-long. Soup will be served for dinner.
Christmas Open House, Saturday December 4, 10 am – 5 pm: Braes Interfaith Ministries invites all to the Braes Resale and Consignment Shop (10319 S. Post Oak @ W. Bellfort) Christmas Open House. Featured items will include 50% off all clothing, accessories and orange tag items.
Calling St. John’s Sandwich Makers: St. John’s “Wonder Team” will meet on Wednesday, December 8 at 6 pm in McPhail Hall to make 300 sandwiches for local children. Volunteers are needed.
