Children’s Choir Rehearsal All children of elementary school age are welcome to join Kyra Noons and Shirley Boyd in Room 209, 11:45 am – 12:15 pm.
Beacon Deadline: Please deliver all Beacon articles for the upcoming October/November newsletter by email (office.sjpc@gmail.com) or deliver to Room 208. The last chance to be part of this issue is Sunday, October 16 at 12 noon.
Braes Interfaith Ministries (BIM) Emergency Request: BIM needs diapers (size 3, 4 & 5) and toothpaste for clients. Please place items in the box outside the church office by Sunday, October 16.
Braes Resale and Consignment Shop Appraisal Day, Saturday, October 29, 11 am – 3 pm, 10319 South Post Oak. Your items will be appraised by experienced antique dealers. No framed art, dolls/toys or furniture. $3 per item donations to the shop requested.
St. John's Holiday Gift Market, Sunday, December 4: This special Holiday Gift Market will include many booths selling items that will benefit our community and the world. Booths represented at the market will include Living Waters of the World, Heifer International, 10,000 Villages, and Lulwanda Children's Home . . . just to name a few. We are currently collecting items for the Silent Auction which will also take place during the Holiday Gift Market. Please contact Claire MacAdam at 713.858.3315 if you would like to donate an item to the Silent Auction.
