Blood Drive, Sunday, July 1: We have the opportunity to help save lives! Blood is always in short supply during the summer months so this drive is critical for the Gulf Coast Blood Bank. Start thinking about adding iron in your diet by eating more raisins, spinach, turnip greens, broccoli, bok choy, beans, lentils, and red meat. The Blood Drive meets in Room 209.

Wonder Team Sandwich June Schedule: St. John’s will continue to make sandwiches during the summer months on our regular 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 6 pm. On June 25 sandwiches will be made in Room 209.

Blood Pressure Screenings, Sunday, July 15: Did you know that one in three adults in the United States have high blood pressure and that the risk of having high blood pressure increases with age? Monitoring your blood pressure can prevent further health problems such as heart disease and stroke. If you are wondering what your blood pressure is, look no further! On Sunday, July 15 a group of medical students will be at St. John's and will be giving blood pressure readings for FREE. Please come and get your blood pressure read so that we can have a healthy, happy congregation! Prizes are available for those who participate!
