Paper Wanted: April Recycling News
St. John’s has registered to participate in the Paper Retriever Earth Day Nationwide Paper Drive! To be one of the winners, St. John’s needs to recycle the same weight as we did last April. In April 2009 we recycled 11 tons (or 22,004.83 pounds).
We are recycling less this year then last year. So please remember to recycle your newspapers/inserts, catalogs, magazines, junk mail, office paper, fax paper, school paper, notebooks and folders in one of the five bins in our parking lot. Each bin will hold between one and two tons of paper. Please do not put cardboard, hard cover books, old phone books or food boxes in the bins.
