Spanish Speakers Needed!

Partners in Educational Advocacy, a ministry of St. John's, partners with economically at-risk families in the special education process through advocacy and parent education. We train volunteers to serve as advocates for parents and children navigating the special education process in the public schools. Many of our families are Spanish speaking only - and we desperately need advocates who can work with these families.
Requirements:  Heart for serving people in poverty and developing relationships.  Strong Spanish speaking skills.  All training in the special education process will be provided through the ministry. Please contact Suzette Harrel, suzharrel@comcast.net or 713-501-4703, if you or anyone you know might be interested in finding out more about this opportunity.
