St. John’s is one of the 12 congregations that support Braes Interfaith Ministries (BIM), which is also supported by the Braes Resale & Consignment Shop. For every dollar profit earned by the Resale Shop, as well as funds from the 12 congregations, BIM gets $27.00 of food from the Houston Food Bank. The store also disburses clothing vouchers to BIM clients and assists with household items to families that have been displaced.

Consignment items Braes Resale can accept: furniture, house wares, collectibles, art, jewelry, china, dishes, stemware and art glass. Donated items Braes Resale can NOT accept: children’s furniture & toys, office furniture, sleeper sofas, pillows, sports equipment and major appliances.
