"Wonder Tean" - Feeding Houston's Children

St. John’s Wonder Team is part of St. John’s Outreach Ministries. Eleven months of the year a dedicated group of volunteers meet twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays in McPhail Hall at 6 pm to make 300+ sandwiches.

The sandwiches are picked up on Thursday by Kids Meals of Houston and delivered to Ripley House (4410 Navigation) where a drink, fruit and cookies are added to each lunch. Volunteers then deliver them to the homes of pre-school at-risk-children. Learn more about Kids Meals by visiting www.kidsmeals-houston.com.

The Wonder Team will make sandwiches 4 more times this year. We will make sandwiches on October 26, November 9, December 14 and 28.
