CAKE AUCTION, Sunday, July 25, after Brunch: The youth invite all the bakers of St. John’s to bring their favorite sumptuous and delicious desserts to McPhail Hall next Sunday morning. Please include a card with the baker’s name, dessert name and any other special details you care to include. All proceeds benefit youth activities.

Mustard Seed Project: Jennifer and Jana Burnham are asking for new small stuffed animals, toothpaste and toothbrushes, which will bring smiles to the children whose parents are BIM clients. A collection box is located by the church office.
Children’s Book Donations Needed, Deadline July 25: Recently Jennifer Durand and Ernesto Rodriguez’ niece lost her fight against colon cancer. To carry on Luz Angela’s memory and love of teaching, a reading corner for future teachers and their young students will be developed at the UH Downtown campus in Alief. To help build the “Luz’ Reading Corner,” Jennifer is collecting new and “very gently used” children's books. A collection container is located by the church office.
