Desserts needed, Sunday July 25: St. John’s Presbyterian Youth Fellowship needs donations of baked goods (cakes, desserts etc.) for their Cake Auction. Please bring your item to McPhail Hall before worship.
Congregational Potluck, August 1: Start thinking about what you will bring to McPhail Hall three Sundays from today. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share.
Mustard Seed Project: Jennifer and Jana Burnham are asking for new small stuffed animals, toothpaste and toothbrushes, which will bring smiles to the children whose parents are BIM clients. A collection box is located by the church office.
Children’s Book Donations needed, Deadline July 25: Recently Jennifer Durand and Ernesto Rodriguez’ niece lost her fight against colon cancer. To carry on Luz Angela’s memory and love of teaching, a reading corner for future teachers and their young students will be developed at the UH Downtown campus in Alief. To help build the “Luz’ Reading Corner,” Jennifer is collecting new and “very gently used” children's books. A collection container is located by the church office.
